Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. Aspen returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put a black mark on Ladd's records in her amateur. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen started her professional career in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill as she was able to end her third round via TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy as a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round by TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by using her ground and pound tactics which resulted in a TKO 2nd round win. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first few seconds and was awarded a prize for her performance during the night. She fought her first big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd's win was a majority victory, as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award was awarded to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. In her place She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
