Anne Phung Nguyen

My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in the beautiful Orange County California with my wonderful fiance JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. A majority of my followers know me through my Instagram @annephung where I share my daily life, highs, lows, and all in between. When I was in 1990, I moved to America together with my parents and brother as I reached the age of one and a half. Without my parents' devotion to dedication and hard work and sacrifice, I wouldn't share my story. In the hope of having the best life possible I wanted to try the best I could to please them and was focused on my success. I had a plan to go to school to graduate, and then get an employment that was good. And then I wanted an empathetic wife and children. This was my vision of what success looked like. But the reality of life changed my thoughts. In 2013, I found the job I was in didn't feel like a good fit for me. Although the salary and status were good however, I wasn't sure if the work was satisfying. In reality, I thought I was simply wasting my time. I possessed a love of fitness and having fun and helping people when I was navigating the new direction in my life. I was drawn to personal training. My small business was started in 2014 and I'm celebrating my 7th year of business success in 2021. Being an Asian female in this industry there are very few. To be a leader in my field, and to offer quality coaching, to help others live an improved and happier life by creating a healthy lifestyle to meet their needs and help them achieve their goals. I also strive to empower others to go after their dreams and do all they wish to in life. When I began my professional job, the passing of my mother was the greatest loss to me. She has won the eight-year struggle with Scleroderma. Then she's in Heaven and I will remain close to her in my heart. The universe has a way with giving us precisely what we require, even if we're not able to comprehend the lesson in the moment. The loss of my mother affected me greatly and I think she was the one who gave me a second chance at life. On Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. The time was right for her to transition to the next chapter of her life and my chance to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. The thing I'm feeling now at the age of 30 is a feeling of vitality and awareness. It's as if I am truly living, and not just existing. When I tell the story of my life, it is with the intention that people are able to relate to my feelings and thoughts. In order to feel that they're not the only ones. And that there is true love. Also that therapy is a necessity and it isn't unusual. In the end, your health is your biggest wealth. Only one life is yours. I want you to be the best version of yourself.
