Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies, mostly in the horror or martial arts categories. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action films and has a fascination with the morbid. The reviewer began her journey in 2009, and gained some respect on their forums, under her previous username Obscurus Lupa. In 2010 she was a member of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome Family. She was on the website up until the end of 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that are about the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was her very first film. as well as appearing on his TV show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible kids' films or RiffTrax live programs as well as the occasional adult comedy (including Baywatch, of course Baywatch (2017)). She started reviewing films in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining popularity in channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially joining the group of reviewers on Channel Awesome. She's been featured on many Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as well as Phelous & the Movies. She was part the team of Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
