Annette Funicello is an American actress and singer. Her most well-known role was that of "one of the first Mouseketeers" from The Mickey Mouse Club. In her teens She began her journey as a singer and was renowned for the hit song "Tall Paul" and "Pineapple Princess.' Annette was an introverted girl born in Utica with Italian immigrants. Since she wanted to pursue success in her career as an entertainer, Annette began acting and dancing. In the mid-late 1950s, she became famous for appearing in several "Disneysketches. Annette shed her Disney image as an adult and began acting in adult roles. She is best remembered as one of the early actors who introduced the genre "beach events".
